Meet the USA - Martin Luther King Jr.


On Thursday, December 26, 2019, at 6 PM, come for the "Meet the USA" holiday lecture whose topic will be "Martin Luther King Jr. - American Black Orpheus".

In the lecture, we will hear the story of this Baptist priest and African American civil rights activist. At the age of 35, he became one of the youngest Nobel Prize winners. He was awarded this prestigious Peace Prize in 1964. Just four years later, he was killed in an assassination in Memphis. In the lecture, we will hear some of his most important speeches and shed light on the atmosphere that took place in the American South in the 1960s.

The lecturer will be Rastislav Stojsavljević, PhD.
