FLEX program - exchange of experiences

On behalf of the American Council for International Education, we are informing you that this autumn, throughout Serbia, testing will be conducted for the one-year exchange program FLEX (formerly known as A-SMYLE), which is funded entirely by the Government of the United States of America.

Program scholars spend one academic year in America with US family volunteers, attending US high schools. The US Council will conduct testing for the FLEX program this fall, 2019/20 school year. The target group of the tests are high school students, citizens of the Republic of Serbia, enrolled in the first or second grade of high school, born between January 1, 2002 and July 15, 2004. Students with disabilities can be any grade and born between February 15, 2001 and July 15, 2004.

More information about the program, with exact testing sites, can be found on the following link:

Due to the great interest in the details of the program, on Thursday, September 20, beginning at 6:30 pm, a program with the goal of sharing experiences will be held in the American Corner Novi Sad. Several FLEX alumni will be there for all the questions you may have, and for which you will not find the answers on official sites.

Everyone is welcome to participate, from students who will apply for the program and their parents, to other alumni who are willing to share their experiences with younger generations, give advice and help them resolve some of their concerns.

Participation is free, but registration for this event is required and can be performed HERE.

We'll see you at the Corner!
