As part of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Americans with Disabilities Act or ADA, a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability, we will virtually host two extraordinary moderators - USG alumni and a special guest:

Dragana Rodic remained in a wheelchair after a car accident. She thought that she would spend the rest of her life as an observer, and then she graduated from the Faculty of Economics, got a job at the Center for Career Development at the University of Nis, founded a humanitarian association and stem cell info center, wrote a book "Circle of Circumstances", parachuted with 3,000 meters, she got married and became a mom. He is an alumni of the Community Connections exchange program and will share his achievements and experiences with us;

Marija Milanović lost her sight in the incubator. She lives alone, has her own show "In the rhythm of health" on Super Radio Nis and works on providing psychosocial support to women with disabilities organized by Iz krug Nis. Born in Majdanpek, she was educated in Zemun and Belgrade, and studied and graduated in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nis. A few years ago, she acquired the title of master communicator. She has worked on several projects and programs dedicated to students with disabilities;

Marko Ristic is a master professor of physical education and sports, he works as the director of the elementary school in Nis. He is an alumnus of the Community Connections exchange program and the State Department's Global Sports Mentoring program. His organization runs a sports camp for children with disabilities and children from families of low socioeconomic status.

In a short 60-70 minutes, they will try to bring us closer to everything they learned in America and how they contribute to their community on a daily basis. Join this informal conversation to find out how much the boundaries of ability are shifting and how many inspiring people we have in our environment.
