Access to Information for All: Libraries Building Communities and Saving Lives

As 4th part of Access to Information: Take Action! event, we will host Access to information for all: libraries building communities and saving lives lecture.

Libraries are building communities. Libraries are helping people to access, understand, and utilize information. Job seekers, entrepreneurs, people with health conditions, seniors, and those with different linguistic backgrounds and abilities are part of our communities, and libraries are empowering them to access information that could potentially save their lives.

Loida Garcia-FeboAmerican Library Association (ALA) President Elect and International Library Consultant, will bring together concepts of libraries of all types as pillars of access to information and education welcoming all members of the community. This presentation will include examples of programs from libraries in the USA.
