Literature and Humor in “South Park”

Numerous examples of irony and parody which Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny are exposed to present a splendid invitation to a lecture that will help you understand the inner workings of “South Park’s” humor and make you laugh at the same time. The lecture will take place on June 15th at 17.30h in American Corner in Kragujevac. The lecturer holds a Ph.D. in Philology and his research areas of interest are American and Irish Studies.

Presentation - National Parks in America

On Wednesday, May 16 at 5 pm, the American Corner will host Matt Meinzer. Matt Mainzer is the current Fulbright ETA in Novi Pazar, Serbia. He is originally from New York and recently graduated from Pace University after serving for five years in the United States Marine Corps. The presentation, America’s National Parks, will go over the National Park system in the United States, including its history, popular parks today and how they are protected and managed. Interesting wildlife, as well as some popular hiking trails and hiking/outdoor culture in the U.S.
