1. Can I attend lectures organized by American Corner Novi Sad if I’m not a member?

Yes. Lectures and presentations, as well as attendance of first conversation classes and other programs, do not require membership status. However, since the membership is free of charge, we recommend you to become our member.

2. Is ACNS a TOEFL test center?

Yes, since December 19th 2015, American Corner Novi Sad introduced the possibility to take the TOEFL® iBT exam.

American Corner became the only institution in Novi Sad, and one of four in Serbia, which is the official TOEFL® iBT test center.

TOEFL test center in Novi Sad offers the possibility of taking this test for a maximum of 15 candidates on computers distributed across three separate rooms.

3. Can a child be a member of ACNS?

Yes! Children are welcome to become our members! In this case, parents need to come and bring one photo of the child and his/her health insurance card

4. How can I become a member or volunteer at the American Corner?

To become a member, all you need to do is bring one photo and an ID (or health insurance card for people under 18). To be a volunteer, it is enough to come to share your ideas with us. Volunteers are our VIP members and have privileges in using ACNS resources.

5. Can I order books through ACNS?

Unfortunately this option is still not available, but you can always first check if we have the book you are looking for in our collection and collections from other 7 American Corners.

6. Does American Corner provide visa services?

Unfortunately, we do not provide visa services.
